Reta was & still gets Rere or Tata. These were from Isaac who couldn't say Reta. Your mom used it a lot and I still do. There was also a time bug sister Amy called Reta... Re-tard & Reta replied Am-tard. Fortunately, at that time Reta was still too young to understand & it didn't last long. I think now it is a comical thing between them. I never had much in nicknames. Your dad probably had some not endearing names for me. Uncle Gord has called me Clara-Belle. There's a story there too.
